Fantastic 3 hours at Chez Rasleau today in Val d'Oire et Gartempe, creating Christmas ornaments.
A group of eight joined me for the workshop, none of whom had done glass fusion before. Well they got straight in, and my no holds barred they went for it!
We had horses heads, Christmas wreaths, Christmas trees, robins, a guitar, Christmas bauble
and a Christmas stocking.

I am always amazed especially when someone states they aren't creative, just what an individual can produce... it delights me when I see what someone can create with just a few shards of glass and the famous 'bit box.'
The silence - concentration was deafening, however there were many laughs and I believe a lot of fun was had by all.
Chez Rasleau made us most welcome, produced an amazing 'light,' lunch of BLT sandwiches, chips and delicious carrot soup. They catered for the vegetarians amongst us and provided lots of tea, coffee and of course water.

Looking forward to 2026 when of course there is so much to explore in glass fusing techniques... hope you will join me.
