NEW Workshops

I'm always looking for new ways to work with glass and recently I came across two. The first Fossil Vitro, where you take leaves, dried flowers, cover them in glass powder frits, and sandwich them between fused glass and fibre board. At the last glass fusion workshop we played with this method, and I think got some good results. It is a long firing programme, taking 10+ hours. We started small with one inch squares in clear Tekta and then worked our way up to larger samples using white Tekta. More experimentation is required and I wonder if you can after the initial firing, TAC Fuse a clear Tekta on top of the Fossil Vitra finished item, as it does have a slight rough surface left from t
