Where does inspiration come from?

A simple walk along a beach can inspire one to look at things in a different way. For example the Beach Hut photo on the left, where the paint is beginning to peel off - don't you love the textures and colours. Would make a fantastic abstract.

Perhaps the photo to the right and below, of boats in a boatyard, weathered and peeling paint, I love the primary colours and cannot wait to get either my paint brush out, or see if I can reproduce the effect in fused glass.
